The Little Blessing’s Horses

Lil Bit
Lil Bit was added to the Little Blessings team through his first owner when he was just under a year old. As a baby, he was so small that Kat was confident he would be tiny forever! But, as he aged, Kat quickly learned that Lil Bit wasn't going to "live up" to his name, as he surpassed Merlin in height by the time he turned 3. His taller height has been a blessing as he can more easily reach people who are in a bed or a wheelchair.
In addition to being a very handsome boy, he is particularly skilled at smiling, which is his favorite trick to perform. His other favorite trick seems to be testing Kat's patience at home, as he is voted most likely to run away when Kat comes to catch him, or to see if he can get out of open gates. A truly sweet and sassy boy, he seems to innately know that when his shoes and vest get put on, it's time to transform into a therapy horse.

Merlin
Merlin is the horse who started it all! Kat found him on Craigslist in late 2012 and after a month or two of pleading (and begging), she convinced Abe to join her on a visit to "just go look at him." By the new year (2013), Merlin was loaded up into the back of a Jeep and headed home as Kat's first Miniature Horse. Since that time, Merlin has proven himself time and time again as the best boy there ever was. He is extremely gentle and can often be found taking a nap on therapy visits.

Royalty
Royalty is the third member to be added to the Little Blessings team, and is a half-sibling to Lil Bit. They both share a sweet and sassy nature, and there is never a dull moment when Roy is around. He is naturally curious about most things and has an active personality. He loves attention and if you ask Kat, she'll tell you that he knows he is handsome - his blue eyes and pink nose capture everyone's attention when he's out on a visit. He has a fun, quirky personality and is very receptive to learning new tricks, especially when treats and scratches under his chin are involved. He is an eye-catching member of the group.
